Brief History

James Robert Halpert, or Jim as his friends and family simply called him, was born on January 8, 1980 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He worked for several years at both the Scranton and Stamford branches of Dunder-Mifflin paper suppliers as a paper salesman before he was promoted at the Stamford branch to assistant regional manager. He then transferred back to Scranton, and was promoted to assistant regional manager there.

It wasn't before long that Jim decided to leave the company and return to school. Since he already had his associates degree from the Scranton Community College in business administration, Jim decided to pursue the rest of the program at KSU.
