RULES, PB GUIDELINES, AND HOW TO POST Because of the nature of _afterwards, you must be 18 years old to join.
Correct grammar is expected. We all make mistakes, but use spell check and read over your entries before you post them if you have trouble with grammar.
Personal journal entries should be written in first person.
_afterwards entries are only for happenings outside of Hogwarts and should be written in third person.
_afterwardshog entries are only for happenings inside of Hogwarts and should be written in third person.
OOC posts (like plot discussions, personal stuff, etc.) should be posted only in _afterwardsooc.
While we support characters of different sexual orientations, every character at Afterwards cannot be homosexual. It's not realistic. Straight characters need love too!
To prove that you've read the rules, put The Future Is Now. at the top of your application.
No god-modding. You only have control of your character, so don't make any decisions for someone else in your post.
If you believe your post will have extreme adult content, please post a warning on the beginning of your text.
We're all for characters fighting, but not the players. If you feel you've been bullied, feel free to let us know.
ABOUT IN-HOGWARTS ENTRIES
Entries in the Hogwarts (_afterwardshog) must take place at Hogwarts or Hogsmeade. If your character is out of Hogwarts but is sending a letter or package to someone at Hogwarts, then post it in _afterwardshog. If your character is in Hogwarts but is sending something to someone out of Hogwarts, write it in the main Afterwards (_afterwards) community.
AFTERWARDS: PRELUDE
_afterwardspre is available for those that would like to RP their character's past. It's not required at all. If you choose to do this, start the thread like a regular entry (see below).
PB + CHARACTER GUIDELINES/RULES
You can have up to three characters, but they must not be characters that would not interact with each other, like siblings, cousins, friends, etc.
Make sure your PB is age appropriate for your character.
Pay attention to the physical attributes of your character's parents when choosing a PB.
If you want your character to be an existing character's sibling, you must contact the owner of that character to make sure they agree. Also, try to make the siblings look alike.
Models as PBs are accepted, but they must have a good amount of varying facial expressions.
Icons that are not of a good quality are rather distracting. Please try to find high quality icons! We'll help you out if you need it.
We really like picking PBs, so if you're having trouble coming up with one, just ask us!
No reality TV stars as PBs, please.
Put your community posts in this format: (Take out the italicized examples, of course :) )
