Sorry Amara, but thank God New York is no longer on fire.
Alright so common sense rules. If you're going to take your tablets, fancy phones, or your laptop to the pool be careful to not get it wet. Water damage isn't in my job description.
And if you do, don't just run into my office sopping wet.

It's that time of year. I have updates to install, over the next couple of days internet outages should be minimal but they will be sporadic. I'll try to time them so they're late at night, but I can't promise anything.
Later in the month I'll head to Chicago and San Francisco.

Thank God for the internet. I see you movie studio trying to make me pay to see the hobbit to see Star Trek stuff. I'm not falling for it.
With the end of the semester approaching, I'd like to remind any students going home for the holidays that I can still be reached via phone and email for computer help. |

Beginning of the year announcements are late, but better now than ever.
Students I remind you that filesharing, torrenting, p2p seriously I saw kazaa on someone's computer just really? REALLY? is against the rules. So don't get caught. It's also illegal, opens yourself up to legal action, and etc etc etc. So don't, okay?
If you have any computer issues or password problems my office hours are:- Monday - 9 AM-12
- Tuesday - 3 PM-6 PM
- Wednesday - 3 PM-6 PM
- Thursday - 9 AM-12
- Friday - None
- Saturday - 2 PM - 4pm
These hours are tentative and subject to change, but any change will be announced. If you can't make it, email me, and we'll work something out.

I'd like to remind all students that if you're having computer issues it might be easier to come see me before classes start that way twenty of you aren't trying to push your way into three hours of office hours.
