Did everyone have a wonderful Valentines Day? I think I received enough chocolates and sweets to last me until next weekend. Which, by the way, if anyone is in need of a sugar rush, don't hesitate to drop in.

Work has slowed down a bit, which is good considering how many people in Veritas alone Displaced. The last few weeks were extremely harried, not just in the workplace, mind you. Drinks, anyone? It's certainly been awhile!

I love the holidays. Everyone's so festive and cheery and it really puts me in a good mood. Anyone throwing any gatherings this year? I might be tempted to hold one at my place. Not sure if I'll have the time, but I'd still like to try if no one else has plans.

Guess what time of year it is! ..No I don't mean that American tradition of food stuffing and turkey tossing though, honestly? Sounds delicious... But it's my birthday tomorrow! And I expect all of you I know and love to be with me at the pub tomorrow to celebrate.

So, Lazy Horse tomorrow, seven pm at the earliest! No presents necessary, just your wonderful presence! See? No excuses. Unless it's work, but even so it must end some time.

I've just been told by some bustling elder woman that I need to work on my people skills. Honestly? Was she serious? I have the best people skills this side of Britain! And excuse my bloody language, but how was it that I could be quite rude in my manner after taking my time to help her out with a little problem she had thrown at me in the first place?

I'm an understanding man, and I will take some criticism with a grain of salt, but just because you're in a hospital and it's made you quite callous doesn't mean the staff is devoid of emotion despite some doctor's practices.

Freedom!!!!!! Sweet, sweet freedom! Except, not really because tomorrow I'm back on duty and then it's just right back here in the hospital for me. It's really not so bad here, guys.. Well, the food is but not the people.

I DO get out early, though. Is anyone celebrating tomorrow?

I haven't had time to think of a costume. I hope I have something good enough to suffice!

Kinda odd to be on the receiving side of healing for once. Not that I don't get injured once in a while, but not quite this badly... Safe to say, I'm almost out of here. The concussion I was dealt with was slightly more severe than expected, but I do have the brightest and prettiest healers, so plus side.
