- History: From a young age, Eddie was a trickster. At supper he would listen to his father’s work stories and dream about ways that could use them on others. While displaying intelligence at Hogwarts, he spent his free time perfecting jinxes that he would pull on his housemates who avoided him all together on major holidays that surrounded trickery (i.e. April Fool’s Day, Halloween, etc.). These innocuous shenanigans landed him in Dumbledore’s office on multiple occasions the last of which Dumbledore suggested his talents would be best served on the Hogwarts Wizards Chess Team due to his natural abilities towards mischief. Within his first year on the team he climbed the ranks even going as far as to represent Hogwarts on the international stage competing against champions from Durmstrang and Ilvermorny.
When Wizarding war broke out, the Carmichael Family fled to Spain where they hid until after the war ended. It was there that Eddie taught his younger brother Aidan how to play the game in their down time leading to a growing bond between the brothers. Upon graduating, Eddie took an internship in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures at his mother Valeria’s behest thinking it further curb his penchant for jinxes. It was during this internship that Eddie learned the bulk of his knowledge of Magical Creatures and began searching for avenues to share his knowledge whilst also using it as a quick laugh. While walking through Diagon Alley after work he ran into Luna Lovegood, the one Ravenclaw he could never land a prank on, and learned she had opened Mini Magi School, an alternative school for magically gifted youngsters before they enter Hogwarts as firsts. In addition to teaching a multitude of subjects he heads the after school wizards chess club and helps organize field trips to the magical menagerie, always supervised by another teacher of course. - Physical Description: Jimmy Smits. British Dad & Mexican Mom give him a distinctly Latino look; 5ft 9in; wavy brown hair, sometimes worn long. Athletic build but not ‘built’.
