HUZZAH!!!!
So, my ex-co-worker (if you can follow that line of relationship) texted me with the words "CALL ME ASAP!!!" today. Naturally, I freaked out. My freak out had nothing to do with paranoia and more to do with the fact that I had reasons to be paranoid when my ex-co-worker texted me with those words. (There is a long story there that involves person A, B, and C and Tab A, slot B, and not belonging to proper people.) But, anyways, I digress.... no, actually, now I'm going to digress.

SOme of you might not know that ex-co-worker is one of my best friends. She is also my photographer. I don't mean that I work for her as a digital editor - though I do. What I mean is that she photographs me. She has now done several photoshoots of me and considers me to be one of her favorite subjects to practise on. The fact that she likes to shoot nudes makes it a good thing that we are comfortable around eachother.

Anyways - still digressing - the last photoshoot that she did of my was right after I finished my peacock feather tattoos and she was shooting them for the tattoo studio that we both go to. I don't know what Inky thought of the 40 that I editted, but I had a blast (though, dammit, I missed a nipple in one of the shots and forgot to blank it out. grrr...) Anyways, Waylin saw them and suggested that ex-co-worker contact the suicide girls since they have a branch near where she lives and they specialize in girls with various body types who have heavy body modifications (which, of course, ex-co-worker loves photographing.) She was highly complimented that he would think that of her art, but - alas - I would be one of the only people in her portfolio for that style of photography.

No more digressing. An ex-client of the studio that we both worked at contacted her today. The client has been asked by the Suicide Girls to send in a portfolio and she wants my friend to shoot it. I've been pulled in as brainstormer/photo assist/editor for the project!!! SQUEEEE!! THough, honestly, I don't know why I'm so excited because this isn't going to do shit for career, but I can't believe that I might be editing the photos of a suicide girl!!

Okay... I'm done now.

hehe.....

ONLINE PRODUCTION DESIGNER: related to career? I saw this posting and thought of you. They are also looking for a freelance photographer. You need to scroll down for the production designer.

here's the photo shoot in Huntsville. I've no idea if Franklin will have time to chat, but hey, it could be educational to check out the shop.

That avi still makes me giggle.

Thanks for joining me in the squee and thanks for the info! I will certainly take a look at the photoshoot when it comes to Huntsville. I actually know where the shop is; yes, I've been in yarn shops... *snicker* I had a friend down here who was a knitter and my Mom cro... fuck it, I'm not going to try and spell write now.

Thanks, also, for the heads up to the other postings. They don't have telecommuting, but it does give me some titles that will help for the search.

I still want to knit one of these things for the hell of it.

Too bad they don't allow telecommuting, but glad to give you more titles to look at.

I figured you knew where the shop was. You've mentioned a friend that knits. :D

Hiya! I was thinking of you, and wondering if you posted here, or if I should add you on LJ. Or if you've been simply offline.

*hugs*!
