Anniversary Gift to Have and to Hold

Author's Note: This story was written for the Cipher Anniversary challenge. (Prompt: story must contain an anniversary, a death, or a birth, and be at least 2007 words.) Also, it takes place in the same world as my Halcyon Days series, so the explanation behind some of the settings and the character of Juliet derive from there.

Summary: Lily and James have a wonderful first wedding anniversary, but it leads to more than either of them would have expected. In a time of war, their love can do many things: it can bring life, and it can bring death.

The Start of Something New - H/D
I'm posting this story to my journal first merely because I thought the title was rather ironic. It is, as of yet, the only Harry/Draco story I have ever written.
