First muggles dead and now they want to heap those poor little fairies on top of it? It's simply absurd. I can't believe they're even considering doing anything but seeing them back to a place where they can live in peace. What good could possible be achieved by putting down creatures who were illegally snatched and likely kept in inhumane conditions through their captivity. They're as much victims in this as anyone else and instead of being protecteted they could be facing euthenasia. It's the illegal trading market that's the problem, and killing a brood of fairies isn't going to do anything to correct it.
