Tuesday, October 1, 2019 - AIM: Maggie/Kael
Maggie: HI!
Kael: Hi yourself!
Maggie: :D
Maggie: I need a distraction. Sooooo much homework!
Kael: God, I know.
Maggie: Why must I be terrible at all things math?
Kael: Because I need to be better than you at something.
Maggie: Oh really?
Kael: Yep. Apparently that's math.
Maggie: I think you're a pretty good kisser.
Kael: Oh, well, I think we're pretty evenly matched there.
Maggie: Really?
Kael: Yep. I think you might even be a bit more practiced than I am.
Maggie: I don't know about that.
Kael: I do.
Maggie: Most the guys I've kissed were, uh, meals.
Kael: Still counts.
Maggie: Not really. I didn't like them the way I like you.
Kael: You know, saying stuff like that makes it hard for me to argue with you.
Maggie: Good!
Kael: Nuh uh.
Maggie: What will make you feel better?
Kael: If you just admit that you're the experienced one of us then offer to teach me everything you know.
Maggie: Everything?
Kael: Why not?
Maggie: Well, I know some things you might not want to know/try.
Kael: Like?
Maggie: Well, the feeding stuff.
Kael: Oh, yeah. Well maybe not right away. But, you know, eventually.
Maggie: Really?
Kael: If we were like.. seriously dating then eventually that would, you know, need to come into play, right?
Maggie: It doesn't need to. I can get blood other ways.
Kael: I don't really agree with that. I mean it's a part of who you are and you have to embrace all of somebody if you're really gonna be with them, I think.
Maggie: Well, only if you're comfortable with it. Eventually. But I don't expect it.
Kael: That's what I said. Eventually.
Maggie: Ok.
Kael: So meeting Fisher was weird. He's.... not good at social. lol
Maggie: Yeah, well, he's just weird in general. But he and my uncle are really good friends.
Kael: Yeah, you said that. I dunno. I mean it was.. okay but not like... how I expected, I guess.
Maggie: What did you expect?
Kael: More of a connection, I guess.
Maggie: How are things going with Lyle?
Kael: They're cool, I guess. I mean... he's busy a lot and so am I but we don't not get along. But we haven't exactly bonded yet either.
Kael: I guess it takes time.
Kael: I guess I just thought it would be easier with Fisher since he and I both have the same... ability.
Maggie: Yeah. I get that. But you can have lots in common with someone and still need time to be friends with them. And you can have nothing in common with someone and feel as though you've known each other forever.
Kael: That's true.
Maggie: Like, you and me don't have a ton in common.
Kael: Yeah.
Kael: I guess I just miss that whole.. familial thing. I mean I only really had my mom before, but she was like.. my best friend.
Maggie: Well, I mean, if you're interested, you could maybe come with me to visit my family sometime. They're really nice.
Kael: I would be open to the idea of meeting your family someday but that's not really the same thing.
Kael: I guess I just kind of miss her right now.
Maggie: Your mom?
Kael: Yeah.
Maggie: I'm sorry. I guess you haven't seen her ghost?
Kael: I have. But that's not exactly idea, ya know?
Kael: It's just... weird.
Maggie: I understand.
Maggie: I mean, not completely, but as best I can without having the same ability.
Kael: Yeah.
Maggie: Do you wanna talk about something else?
Kael: I dunno. Yeah. Tell me something funny..
Maggie: Um, Edelweiss fell off the futon earlier when she stretched really big. I don't think she realized how close she was to the edge.
Kael: Did she give you a dirty look like you did it?
Maggie: She just made this sad little mew and then went to hide.
Kael: That's cute.
Maggie: She's so cute! I can't stop taking pics of her.
Kael: I think I wanna get some sort of pet now that I'm like.. going to be in the same place for a while.
Maggie: IDEA!
Kael: Do you have one? I was thinking I might want an Iguana.
Maggie: I could shift into different animals you might want, and you could see what you think!
Kael: I think you just like an excuse to get naked in front of me.
Maggie: Do you not want me getting naked?
Kael: Oh, it's fine.
Maggie: You know that new guy, Nathaniel? He's a djinn.
Kael: No.
Kael: But what about him?
Maggie: Oh, well I met him finally this week. He was playing with this ball of water that he'd formed with magic, and it spilled all over me. So I was changing my clothes, since I was wet, and I told him to keep his eyes closed, but he didn't. But I think that he doesn't really understand that it's not polite to peek. Like, he doesn't see anything weird about people taking off clothes.
Kael: So, in other words, I should go beat him up?
Maggie: NO!
Maggie: I told him that he shouldn't do that. And tried to explain what's considered proper.
Kael: Ok. So you think he got it?
Maggie: Yeah, I do. And he just saw me in my underwear and bra, I wasn't NAKED naked.
Kael: That's still more than I saw! I didn't even peek. I should have, though.
Maggie: Well, we could go to the pool? I mean, my bikini covers less than my underwear and bra.
Kael: That's not a terrible idea. I like swimming.
Maggie: Do you like hot tubs? Because I love them now that I'm cold blooded.
Kael: I've been in one once.
Kael: It was nice.
Maggie: Maybe we could blow off our homework for a bit?
Kael: Hmm... Ok.
Maggie: You can quiz me on math.
Kael: Ok. Deal.
Maggie: Yay!
Kael: See you in the rec center in like... half an hour?
Maggie: Sure. I'll be there.
Kael: Ok. See you then.
Maggie: See ya!
Maggie: [away: heading to the pool!]
