May Parker is the daughter of Peter Parker, and Mary-Jane Watson-Parker, in another reality. At birth, May was kidnapped from her parents, by a Con Artist working for the Green Goblin. However, Kaine found the baby girl living with a woman named Alison Mongraine, and she was soon reunited with her parents, much to their joy. Growing up, she was unaware of who her father really was, her parents kept it from her. In school she was always the popular one, much like her mother, with a lot of talent in basketball. She was lucky enough to get her fathers brains, and did very well in school, though she was never referred to as the 'smart-one' by her friends. When she was still young, Peter lost his leg in a battle with the Green Goblin, and took that as a wake up call. He retired from being Spider-Man, and took on the full time job as a dad. He was lucky enough to received a bionic replacement of his leg from Mister Fantastic. Her parents hoped their daughter wouldn't receive the same powers as Peter, and they could go on living a normal life. However, at the age of fifteen, May started receiving some variations of her fathers powers. Around this time Normie Osborn, grandson of the Green Goblin, set out to 'restore his family name' which then caused May to take Ben Riley's spider suit, and start fighting crime. She faced the new Green Goblin, and Spider-Girl was launched to the world. At first, her parents tried to stop her from fighting, but soon realized their words of warning were useless, and decided the best thing for them to do would be to support her, and make sure she was doing the best she could do. She was taught how to use her abilities, given new gadgets, and received combat training, from her father and his friends. May went up against many new villains, as well as old foes of her father. She was even able to convince the new Green Goblin to give up their feud, as it really had no point to it, and the two became somewhat friends. In a battle with the super-villain Killerwatt, who controlled electricity, Spider-Girl was severely shocked. This apparently caused her to lose her powers, until, in a battle with the new Spider-Man, she fell into a generator, where she was, again, shocked severely. Her powers returned, along with a few new powers. Spider-Girl was faced with other specters from her father's past, including the near-invincible Black Tarantula. The Tarantula arrived from South America to select May Parker as the perfect young woman to continue his bloodline. Creating "Team Spider" to supposedly assist May in her war on evil, he began a twisted mind-game to win May's heart, all the while seeking to strengthen his grip on New York's criminal infrastructure. May has also fought versions of classic Spider-Man villains. She once fought the Savage Six, and has also fought Aftershock (Electro's daughter). She recently teamed up with Felicity Hardy, who has taken on the role of the Scarlet Spider. She also occasionally faces old villains from Spider-Man's past. She has faced Kaine, Venom, the Kingpin, the Hobgoblin, and Doctor Octopus, to name a few. Recently, May experienced some of Kaine's power and they both saw a vision of her being stabbed to death in her red and blue costume. She started wearing her black costume to try to trick fate, but she was nevertheless stabbed by a Scrier in a battle. Near death, Normie gave her his symbiote (as a farewell gift, the symbiote healed Normie's scars and tattoos) and the symbiote healed May. In order to save May from the Hobgoblin, the symbiote (who turned out to be a she) drove the Hobgoblin away, but in the process was killed by his sonic emitter. Hobgoblin later escaped. Whether facing old Spider-Man villains, newer versions of classic bad-guys, or completely new villains, Spider-Girl will always uphold her father's motto: With great power, there must always come great responsibility. May Day can be described as a Bubbly Brain. She is very outgoing, and in school was always very popular. She makes friends easily, coming off as a very friendly fun, outgoing type. She got this from her mother, obviously, because she is nothing like her father in school, except for maybe the grades she gets. May is very athletic, excelling in basketball. This may of course, be due to her powers, but before she fully developed them, May was on the basketball team. She left the team because she didn't think it was fair to the other players. But May still is a huge fan, and plays for the fun of it. She loves to stay active, and in school, her life is crazy, always taking part in one activity or another. May loves her family, and everything about them. They are the closest thing to her, and she would do anything for them. She uses both of her parents, and some of their friends as role models. May always follows her fathers belief of: "With great power, there must always come great responsibility" and always tries to 'preach' it to others. May is very protective of her little brother, Ben, and knows the story behind 'Uncle Ben', even though she has more than one. May Day is often known to be very witty, and somewhat of a smart ass, both in regular life and battle, though she mostly keeps her witty remarks more for battle, and comes of more of an outgoing, happy girl during the rest of the time.

May Parker inherited many of the same abilities as her father, Peter Parker. May possesses superhuman strength (she can lift upwards of 5 tons), can leap several stories high , and can cover the width of a city block. Spider-Girl's reflexes are also heightened to levels well beyond that of an ordinary human. She heals somewhat faster than a normal human, and is more agile than Spider-Man. Web shooting is also an ability she inherited from her father, but her web is longer and more narrow.Spider-Girl can adhere to almost any surface through a bio-magnetic field her body generates, allowing her to scale the sides of a building, just like a spider. Wall-crawling doesn't come as naturally to May as Peter; she has to concentrate to keep herself from slipping off surfaces. In addition to adhering to surfaces, May can also repel herself like an opposing magnet, or she can repulse and adhere another object or person through a shared medium. For example, she can cause a person to stick to a wall they're touching just by touching that same wall and willing them to, or she can just as easily violently push them away. May Parker has inherited a "spider-sense", a clairvoyance that warns her of danger that is somewhat more powerful and reliable than her father's. It tells her the direction a threat is coming from with a high level of precision. Through intensive training, she learned to fight blindfolded using only her spider-sense. She can use it to spot weaknesses in an opponent and use them to her advantage. She can also sense mundane threats or observations like her father, but unlike him she can use it to sense deception. By touching her father's clone, Kaine, she experienced a shared precognitive vision, but she does not normally have that ability. May also has mechanical web-shooters based on Ben Reilly's web-shooter design. They can fire metal needles called "Stingers" but May rarely uses them, thinking them to be "too brutal". They also fire off impact webbing, balls of webbing that explode on contact with their target. Her mobile phone is modified to attach to one of her web-shooters, and looks like one of its cartridges. She occasionally uses spider-tracers, but as they are tuned to her father's spider-sense and not hers, she needs a receiver to detect them. May has also received some martial arts training from the Ladyhawks and Elektra Natchios, as well as being drilled in the use of her powers by her father.

May, while taking on her fathers powers and personality, takes on her mothers good looks. She stands around five foot seven, weighing in at around one-hundred and ninteen pounds. She keeps herself in excellent shape, though no matter what she does, she just seems to stay that way; toned and trim. May has Peters brown hair, which she keeps just below her neck. Her eyes are a bright blue that can grab anyones attention- when not behind a mask. She tends to dress in trendy clothes when going to school, and us usually high in fashion. However when just lazing around, you can expect her to be in sweatpants and old basktball shirts. She's not a shop-o-holic, by May's mother always made sure she was wearing the right clothes to compliment her looks. O O C | Cara ♥ taloned lady ♥ | not alexis of may ♥ |
