Prompt #57: You're alone. You hear your name whispered. Who is it and what do they want to tell you?
It's Elphaba. She always was the sneaky one, entering through the window rather than using the door... if it's her, she's come to tell me of our fight against Ozma, of how we're faring against her. She never stays long, and often leaves a few minutes after her arrival... such is the course of war.
Although, it might be Boq. His tin 'skin' is cool and unfeeling, but I've learned to love it over the past few months, and he comes to talk. Just that... and we're both left so utterly frustrated that his tin body rusts at even the slightest mark of affection between the two of us.
The sooner we defeat Ozma, and find that belt, the sooner he'll be normal again... the sooner we can actually be in love, rather than whatever the relationship I used to have with him was.
