I'm weeks overdue with answering comments and such, so hold tight, I'm getting to them all.

Hey guys, how's everybody doing? I had two big photo projects I had to tackle these last couple of weeks. Unfortunately it kept me away from LJ, but on the upside there's money in the bank which is always a good thing.

I'm still reeling from tonight's episode of True Blood.

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet since I need to catch up on my emails, but here's some art instead.
I was going to submit a piece for the Phase 1 art of the HBB. Since I am made of fail, while I was working on my art I didn't pay attention to my timeframe and while I was happily drawing away the deadline for entries came and went. So yeah, I'm a doof.

But anyway, I went ahead and finished it. Enjoy.

How's it goin' fellas?

I've been kind of scarce while we took care of some spring cleaning in the house, and every year I'm still left to wonder how just 2 people can accumulate so much crap is beyond me. Do I really need 4 full longboxes of comics that I don't read anymore? 3 extra camera bags when I only use the same one day after day? Old calenders I saved because they had interesting pictures in them?
Old calendars? Really? Geez..

Anyway, moving on now... The more I hear about Azkatraz, the more it seems to be shaping up to be quite an event. But until I get my ass in gear and win the lottery or finally knock over that liquor store, I just don't have the funds to make it. ): It sucks, but there is a ray of sunshine though, Infinitus will be in Orlando next year! Yay, Florida! My neck of the woods! I can drive there in no time! You all better be coming...*glares sternly*

BTW, are there any knitters on my flist on Ravelry? I'm jessabell over there if you want to friend me, my account is a bit bare at the moment, but I plan on uploading some project pics to it this weekend.

This whole RL thing needs to stop getting in the way of my LJ time.
I hope everybody had a good New Years. I'm trying to start the new year off right and do some much needed journal mantinence. It's such a mess, I've got broken art links to fix, filters to organize, art that still needs to be backed up on my IJ, etc. Plus I need to give my flist and friends of list some much needed care, I hadn't had much time to do much more than lurk for a while, and I want to be able to be more active to my flist and also finally address the adding back of people who have friended me. I'm shooting to get this all taken care of by the end of next week. Wish me luck.

Anyways, enough of my whining. I've got some art to post.

Hi all! Just popping in before the holiday to say hello and wish everyone a happy turkey day.

I've been hearing that some of my adult art is gone. I found out that the site where I host that kind of thing is having some problems, but I'm working to get it back up without having to host somewhere else and track back links, change codes, etc. So if you see something missing, I'm workin' on it.

Hey guys! Long time no see! How you doin'?
After what seems like a never ending spell of working like a fiend and then having a week or so without any internet, things have finally begun to wind down to the point where I can finally catch my breath. But I've been quite productive, I even managed to finish and turn in my SSHG exchange gift early. My goal is to clear out my queue by the end of the year so I can start fresh for the new year. Wish me luck. :/

I need to catch up with Prison Break, it sucks that they moved it to the same time as Heroes. And speaking of Heroes......

This season has been ok so far, its had it good points and bad points, But may I just say...
FUCKING FAIL for killing off Adam, especially as a 30 second plot device. Hell, Nicki/Jessica/whatsherface ice chick gets to keep coming back from the dead every other episode, but the immortal (and one of the only good things about season 2) guy bites it right after being dug up from a grave where HE'S BEEN ALIVE FOR MONTHS? Something just isn't adding up here. Jeez, why not whack Mohinder instead? He's been pretty much a complete douche this season so far.
Oh, and sometime in the near future we are all going to find out that we are related to at least one member of the Petrelli family.
But honestly, I really am enjoying the show. :)

I'm still enjoying True Blood and Entourage. I've barely watched House since it's become the Thirteen show and started focusing on shipper drama than medical mysteries. I miss the old ducklings.

And I heard about the news that DT will be leaving Doctor Who. Honestly, it doesn't bother me that much, even though I love Ten, he's had a good run and I'm more excited to see who will be Eleven than mourn the loss of David. I just wish we could have had more time with Eccleston to be honest.

Oh yeah, the art stuff....

- I've got a busy few months ahead of me artwise, with the Snarry games and sshg_exchange coming up, plus I'm back to whittling down the old commissions list and working on the rest of my LiveLongandMarry auction, there should be quite a few more art posts to been seen.

- True Blood. lol, I think I'm gonna like this show, it's campy and funny and Bill the Vampire, mmm..yes plz.

- I want this. And this.

- With all the talk of the new Wolverine movie and Deadpool's name coming up all the time, makes me miss how much I used to like him. I used to have the entire run of his solo series comic, but lost them in a move. I mourn the loss. I need Deadpool icon or banner or something to begin to make up for it.

- Fic rec time: I haven't had the time to sit down and read any long fics in forever, so I ended up saying screw it, and spent my last Saturday doing nothing but reading fanfic. It was a glorious waste of time I tell you. Spent all of my time reading one author's novel length fics; so when you got some time go read The Fool, the Emperor, and the Hanged Man (DM/HG), Damnation of Memory (SS/HG), or Whom the Gods Would Destroy (CW/HG)(WIP). She writes a damn fine thriller.

- I've had some new friendings lately, so Hello! to the new folks. I need to have a friending mixer post again soon, so I can get to know people, friend back, etc. I've neglected my flist and friends of list for far to long. ): I'm sorry guys, you know I love you all. ♥

You know, I really need to start updating more regularly.

Not much going on around here, just been busy with work things and such. Yep, I'm boring.

A quick question for any of the artist/photographer types on my flist: I'm trying to find a different web portfolio site for my photography since I link my portfolio to my business website for clients. A bunch of people I know use OtherPeoplesPixels, and I like them, but I just want to see what else is out there before choosing. So far my searches aren't bringing up much. So my question to you folks is do you know of any good photo/art gallery sites that look pretty slick but won't put me in the poor house with its fees?

Oh yeah, and here's a bit of art for you.

It was the pin-up fest this week at hump_day_smut. Which if you haven't already, you need to go check out because there was a stellar turnout. So much fantastic art. This was my entry.

I'm actually working on making a real post, but I wanted to throw this out there first.

So it's been made official. Deathly Hallows will be two movies. For the most part I'm excited about this, since that means we get one more movie, but it does feel a bit like they are milking the franchise for all its worth. I don't mind that Yates will be directing, my main concern is hoping all the original actors will be up for one more film. I mean damn, these kids are going to be like 40 years old by the time this all ends? As long as they can snag the trio, Rickman, and Fiennes back for it, I'll be ok with it.

So. Where do you think they will split the movies at? I'm thinking possibly around the time when Ron takes off in the woods. Any other ideas?

edit: Interesting little piece of trivia: The guy who played Tommy (To the Last Man) on Torchwood is the brother of Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom).
It didn't register at first, but now I totally see it. :)

The last couple of weeks have been such a bust, I've been in and out of town repeatedly for work and it feels like I've accomplished nothing artwise or similar. I've skimmed my flist once or twice, but I've missed so much I can't catch up. ): Did anything interesting happen?

I did manage to catch up on Torchwood. Speaking of which.. Why is it always a problem for dead people if they need to revive someone, to conveniently remember they have no breath? Yet they can always speak about it? Umm, speech requires breath last time I checked. They pulled that same crap on Buffy. "Ohnoes! I can't give mouth-to-mouth because I have no brefs, so I'm gonna sit here and whine about it loudly!" Oh please. Other than that, I really did like the episode.

Also, I won 2 awards in the dramione_awards! Nifty!
