Personality:
Reina has conflicting personalities. She can go from being a sweet, philanthropist to a bitchy dominatrix in the blink of an eye. She is intensely loyal and protective of her friends and tribe members, whom she considers family. If anyone threatens them, she has no qualms in insuring that the threats are terminated one way or another. She is a little trigger happy, and has a collection of firearms that would make any gun enthusiast proud. Reina is a person who is more than willing to help anyone who is truly in need, but dislikes those who are just lazy and unwilling to better themselves. She is also quite the opportunists and when favorable situations present themselves she is always the first in line to get her due. Reina has always hated being told to do things, and generally rebels against anyone who tries giving her direct orders. When she was younger she was fairly religious, but after the virus struck and killed her parents, she lost her faith.
Personal History:
Bethany Milavetz was born the only child to Kyle and Molly Milavetz. Molly Milavetz had submucous myoma which made conceiving extremely difficult. Bethany was the result of years and years of attempted artificial insemination and fertility medicines.
Her parents were overjoyed with the successful pregnancy and that finally all of their dreams for their child could come true. They had a bright future planned for her, where she’d go to school, what kind of man she’d marry, etc, etc. Little did they know, little Bethany had her own plans.
Ever since she was very young, Bethany was very strong willed. She disliked being told what to do and how she should and could do things. She always either did the complete opposite of what she was told, or went about it in a different manner. In school, she did average and was apathetic of the subject her parents pushed her to take. Her parents wanted her to go to college and become something prestigious, but the thought of any more school sickened her. Her parents kept pushing her and pushing her all throughout junior and senior year of high school that by the time graduation rolled around she was so sick of it all she packed her things and left. The act devastated her parents; they had only wanted the best for her.
Bethany hitched her way south to Cheyenne. When she got there she got a job waiting tables at a gentlemen’s club. When she was 19 she began stripping, under the name of Reina, to increase her earnings. She became close friends with a bouncer, named Carl, at the club, and she would go out every weekend to a shooting range with him. Carl thought that she should have some sort of protection; as he thought she was too tiny to be any good at hand to hand combat. Bethany became very proficient, and found that it was very relaxing to her to go to the shooting range for an afternoon. Carl gave her a Glock 37 as a gift. When she was 20 the Ans virus pandemic occurred. Bethany’s thoughts raced to her parents, and she realized that she had overreacted. Feeling horrible, she went back to Sundance, only to find her parents wasting away in the hospital. They died shortly afterwards along with many others all over the age of 25.
Bethany moved back into her old home to figure out what to do next. It was then that she was contacted by a group of young adults that called themselves the Mountain Lions. Her house was on what they considered their territory, and she was invited to join. She agreed, and offered her marksmanship. She took on her working name, Reina, and was given guard duty and spent most afternoons patrolling the edges of the Mountain Lions' territory, gun in hand.
She did well for awhile, but she found it lonely. She began inviting people to come out with her for company. They were mostly males and she ended up spending most of the time having sex instead of guarding. She realized that guarding really wasn’t her thing, so she got herself removed from guard duty and decided to start up a house of ill-repute on the edge of town. She found a decent abandoned building on the northern edge of town and fixed it up. She got a few volunteers from the Mountain Lions and as The Palace’s fame grew, a few girls from other tribes signed up with her as well.
Reina keeps things as low key as possible at The Palace. All of her girls have to get themselves checked out once a week and behave like ladies. If any patron gets too rowdy, Reina shows up with a shotgun, ready to escort them out.
One of Reina's more frequent visitors is Jax, who comes around not necessarily for entertainment, but for inside news of the Mountain Lions goings on. Jax and Reina are in the midst planning a coup d'etat. How it will end will be determined when the opportune moment presents itself.
