Born and bred in the heart of New York, it was a surprise that Tori hadn't caught the acting bug. Especially considering that her big brother was Anthony Navagato, star of the FOX show 'Levity.' But then, Tori never felt comfortable being the object of anyone's attention. She was happy to hide under a pair of baggy jeans and a shirt two sizes too big, her hair tucked up under a baseball cap. More interested in catching a fly ball or running laps, she grew up being considered just 'one of the guys.' Considering that her family was Catholic, she hated going to school, stuck wearing those stupid pleated skirts all day long. She'd have preferred to wear khakis like the boys, but that wasn't allowed. Happy to hide in the shadow of her brother, she slid through her early years as her parents' little angel. It wasn't until she went to college at NYU that she started breaking out of her shell. Grabbing the attention of many a men but chosing to settle for one, Tori finally started to come into her own. Dressing like the young woman that she was and losing the innocence that had always made her who she was, she grew up. A few years and one bad break-up later, Tori moved out to LA. Transfering her credits to USC and getting an apartment all her own, she seemed to be settling into a new life .. under the watchful eye of her brother, anyway. With a reputation for being trashy, even if it isn't entirely true, and a new determination to try things she never had before, Tori was living the life she always wanted to lead. And it only took her twenty-one years to get there. |
