Just bought myself a copy of Egg's Cooking the Muggle Way and can't wait to burn something! Hopefully just not my house down. Remus will be on hand to make sure I don't lose my eyebrows or any other more important bits though.

Had a very nice, very relaxing Christmas and didn't even black out and miss midnight at New Year's. Quite proud of myself for that.

Regarding my Mid-Term exams ... I'm brilliant. But we all already knew that, didn't we?

Ah, exam time. A time to watch everyone run around completely mental and worry about their grades. Such a joyous and relaxing time. On that note, I've got two exams tomorrow, one of which is Astronomy which, really, should be a breeze. Always is. I mean, honestly, with a name like Sirius, I was bred to know my Astronomy, thank you very much. Then I've got a week to do nothing at all before another exam. See, this is what I love about exams. And to think! This is the second to last round of exams that I will EVER HAVE TO TAKE. Now if that isn't worth celebrating, frankly, I just don't know what is.

I can't believe we lost to Hufflepuff, really. How embarrassing! We can't lose again. CAN'T. Honestly!

My dear old mother went completely mental at Uncle Alphard's funeral. Someone told her what his will said and she lost it. Made a spectacular scene and everything. Flew completely off the handle. If there was anyone left who didn't know how she felt about me, they do now.

There's little I hate more than exam time.
