Minister Diggory's funeral went smoothly. The Ministry would like to thank the public for their consideration at this time, and for all memorial gifts and flowers that will be displayed around the fountain in the Ministry Atrium and may be added to through the Security Desk. If anyone would like to donate in lieu of a gift or flowers, please make them out to The Hogwarts Fund for Muggleborn Students, Minister Diggory's favoured charity. In this time before term begins, it is certain that they would sincerely appreciate it.

We have increased Ministry-wide security, please be patient with the longer and more involved checks as you leave and enter the building. Also, please present your most professional faces to the crowds in the Atrium paying their respects to the Minister.
There have been many meetings to discuss the temporary election of an Interim Minister. Rest assured someone will be in-charge soon enough.

We're getting nowhere in the meetings for an acting Minister. No one can come up with a firm suggestion, or people throw their hats in for the position and everyone disagrees. It's an absolute bloody nightmare. |

The Ministry would like to assure the public that we are doing everything in our power to quickly apprehend the Azkaban escapees. The DMLE and MAB are working jointly on the matter, both departments making capturing the escapees their priority. |

Level Seven, we would like to thank you for temporarily hosting the Daily Prophet staff, and hope that it is not too much of an inconvenience. Please be assured that it should not be too long before the Prophet offices are rebuilt, and the DMGS can return to its regular operations.

I think we've finally made some headway on the Outer Hogsmeade development. The landowners were pushing for a much higher price than was entirely appropriate, as you know, but after the meeting on Friday, it seems the negotiations may finally be complete. They sent an owl to the Minister this morning. We may be able to discuss how best to release this to the press and public now. |

The Minister for Magic and Support Staff have now completely returned to Level One, following the reconstructions that have taken place these past few weeks. There should be no further disruptions to the day-to-day runnings of either Level One or Level Two, but we would like to thank Level Two for being gracious hosts during our temporary stay with their department. The corridors should finally be cleared of those filing cabinets that have been quite the hindrance. |
