I know my reputation as a shopaholic, but since I don't do Black Friday. Seriously it's just I am having a Christmas movies in the lounge. It's A Wonderful Life and A Miracle on 34th Street. It's not Christmas season until they are watched. So if you're around you can join me.

Also, Monday is when my third annual shopping trip to FAO Schwarz will be for Toys for Tots. Anyone who wants to can join me. It's never been not fun, and I don't mean that in the "Of course, Jan likes to shop." way. You know that rubik's cube in Steve's office he's never solved but sometimes angrily stares at? He discovered it the first year we did this.

So yes, fun.

I'll be there at ten.

Due to time traveling shenanigans and being on call for the weather, Hank and I have had to postpone our anniversary trip which was supposed to happen early last month. Neither of us will be here from the 9th or 17th.

Call us if there's an emergency.

Do we get to have any say in this at all?

Seriously, are we going to track down the other guy who attempted to break in and give him an invitation too?

If he wasn't a king and doing so wouldn't potentially cause an international incident, he'd still be a holding cell in a SHIELD base somewhere for that stunt.

I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.

December 5th, I'll be spending most of the morning at FAO Schwarz to buy things for the second annual Avenger's toy drive. If you want to come with me, I'll be there at nine.

If I find out that someone was maliciously the cause of this...

Is everyone all right? There's a group called Les Heroes de Paris. Yes, that's their REAL unimaginative name They were in complete crisis. So I know it was on the news, but yes, it's international.

Yes, you heard right. Steve needs rehab.

I take back anything. No hazing me with phone calls for pizza. If there's something official I need to take care of let me know.

Oh, God. There better not be any emergencies during Steve's trip.

Our dinner was postponed last month due to a lot of events, but this would still be a good thing to have happen. I was thinking end of January.

Alright so Steve, Tony, and I are planning a Toys for Tots giveaway for the 23rd. Steve, Tony, and I will be there, but you are all welcome to show up too. Although Santa hats are not optional.

Anyway its at the same place Tony had his birthday party. It's already decorated and Santa will be there and so will other fun kid stuff. So you guys should come on out.

Alright guys, I know where all busy with work things and with the holiday's coming up people are busy even when they're not supposed to be busy. However, I'm arranging a dinner for on the eleventh of December. It already has Steve's stamp of approval. We both thought it would be good to have a sit down dinner, no costumes or shop talk.

The N.A.F.C. fundraiser went really well. I'm so glad. In one night we were able to raise half the capital needed for the building itself. I couldn't be more ecstatic at the progress we're making.

After the holidays there's going to be a series of fundraisers big to small around the city. I won't be in charge of all of them, but I'll be at quite a few, so I hope to see you all come out. Hopefully we can get the ground broken for Harlem's clinic by the fall!

So thanks to everyone who came out for Halloween, and double thanks to everyone who donated through the website. I know times are tough right now, and every little bit helps. So thank you.

Damnit, what am I doing?

Does anyone have The Avengers Initiative cliffs notes so I know what all's going on?

I hope some announcement has already been made so I'm not showing up as some strange person popping up here. But I'm Janet, and in a few days I'll officially be your teammate. I'm out of the country on business at the moment, but I thought I'd say something here as a way to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to working with you all.
