Despite the fact that they work on different teams, her mother and father were still very much in love, and TJ got the benefit of both. She grew up learning from her world's X-Men. She intended to follow in her father's footsteps one day, and probably would have, if she hadn't been yanked out of her world to join the Exiles in time and dimension hopping. She had been dating James Proudstar in her world. When she joined the Exiles, she met and fell for his brother, John. Unfortunately, John was seriously injured and the Exiles were forced to leave him behind. At the time, TJ was carrying their child. Some time later, she lost the baby, no doubt due to the stresses and demands of remaining on the team. She has been to Mojo's world twice before. She is not particularly happy to be back again. She had just been left behind at another mansion. She hoped she was going to be able to stay a while.
