| At what point in canon is your character being brought in? She has been trapped on the alternate earth for 6 months. Background(At least three paragraphs, we don’t need a book but we need to know that you know your character): When Rose was 6 months old her father died. She was raised by her mother, Jackie. When she was young she was on the gymnastics team. She never liked school, and would often skip classes with her friend Shareen. She began dating Mickey around 14, and was kicked out of school for convincing the choir to go on strike. She lived with a musician for a while and quickly returned to her mother and Mickey. Jackie helped Rose get a job at the shop "Henriks". She and her mother lived in a flat in London. She first met the Doctor while closing up at work, where she was attacked by Autons and the Doctor saved her. Although the Doctor tried to get her to leave him alone she wanted to know what was going on. Rose ended up saving the Doctor, and spontaniously deciding to join him in his travels per his request. Over the next year Rose and the Doctor became close friends and went on a variety of adventures. Along this year they met Jack Harkness. The entire year the phrase "bad wolf" seemed to follow them. After discovering the Dalek's plan to destroy Earth in the year 200,100 the Doctor tricked Rose to going back to Earth in her own time. She found a way to return to the Doctor by looking into the heart of the Tardis and absorbing the time vortex. She then sends the words "bad wolf" across space and time to lead herself there and destroys the Dalek fleet. The Doctor saved Rose by absorbing the vortex from her, forcing himself to regenerate. Rose in her powerful state gave Jack Harkness immortality. Rose and the new incarnation of the Doctor spent a year together seeing werewolves, rekilling Cassandra, possibly Satan, and even meeting Sarah Jane Smith! Rose and Sarah initially had a sort of cat fight over the Doctor but became friends over his faults and quirks. However, from that point on she was worried the Doctor would abandon her. The Tardis somehow became stuck on a parallel Earth where Rose's father lived and there was no Rose (well, there was a dog...). The Cybermen were invented as an upgrade for humans and killed many people on that planet, including that planet's version of Jackie. Mickey, as he had travelled with the pair for part of this year, decided to stay on the parallel world believing that there was more for him there. After returning to Rose's version of Earth the Cybermen found a way through the void to our Earth and the Daleks found a new way to attack Earth as well. In the Battle of Canary Wharf (Torchwood: the bad version) Rose ended up sacrificing herself after the Doctor protesting to make sure that every Cybermen and Dalek was stuck in the Void. Peter (her father) showed up just in time to save her by bringing her to the parallel world. She has been stuck there ever since. The Doctor and Rose were able to say goodbye as the Doctor burned a star to do so. She told him that she loved him, but all he was able to get out was "Rose Tyler..." before the transmission ended. For the past six months Rose has worked alongside Mickey and Jake in the parallel Torchwood to help destroy the few Cybermen that still exist there. Rose has also done some work as an ambassador for Earth when dealing with creatures from another planet as her bosses were quite impressed with her off Earthly knowledge. Personality: Rose is a quick-witted, inquisitive and compassionate young woman, who was quick to adapt despite being thrown into strange events. Over the past few years, since meeting the Doctor, she has learned to be more independent. Since being trapped on the alternate world Rose has remained spirited but she has clearly been slightly depressed. Appearance:Rose is blonde girl in her early 20s. She is healthy looking, not overly athletic or overweight. She is 5'5'' and not overwhelmingly beautiful, it is easy for her to blend in with a crowd... of humans at least. Her hips have a natural sway when she walks and she has very animated facial expressions. Likes: Adventure, gymnastics (but not the practice part, just the being able to swing on things and do crazy stuff part), boys, chips, traveling, clothes, surprises Dislikes: Hypocrites, school, Henrik's, Daleks, Cybermen, Rips in space, peas |
