Well.

Things have been trying.

I have been doing my best to put my life back together, piece by piece, but I find that I am very changed since the events of my kidnapping. Life has been made more difficult, inevitably. But I'm sure that things will slowly go back to the way they were, however slowly.

I've lost my touch. Literally.

I wave my wand and nothing happens. I am a witch, goddammit. A witch. Who performs magic admirably and when she wants, not when her wand feels like it.

Reading the Daily Prophet did little to allay my fears. It's some kind of awful epidemic. And it's not like I keep men around routinely or post wake-up, so I've got to fend for myself on this one.

I'm really scared.
