So to break the neverending cycle of "work work work," I suppose, the Ministry is throwing an Aurors mixer next week. It's supposed to be a night for us to break loose, have fun, have a drink, not worry about the impending doom of the Wizarding world, and... spend time with our wonderful boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance(e)/wife/husband/life partner/shag buddy. As of now I'm going stag, which will be quite awful, since most of the Aurors in my section are either married or engaged, and will spend the entire bloody night asking me why I "haven't settled down yet."

Oh, bloody hell. Maybe I won't go.

I haven't got a dress anyway, nor time to buy anything pretty really. Maybe I can find someone to go shopping with soon.

Or just get a drink with, barring that.

Oh, well. Look on the bright side! I'm not trapped in some awful loveless marriage, eh? ;)
