Just to let you know, I wrote a piece for Cherry’s memorial, since…that’s what I do when these things happen, I guess. ~~If tragedy causes so much inspiration I’m going to have enough material to compile my own cd by the time I leave.~~ I wasn’t exactly sure who all I should probably inform about it beforehand, so I just went with the more rather than less approach, which may not have been the ideal thing to do, but yeah. Just fyi, I guess.

Well everyone here knew her, or at least of her, right? Not as much as you guys of course, but you know what I mean. I don’t know what it is but sometimes inspiration just strikes, and I end up with an entire piece composed before I even know it. And it just always seems weird and maybe a little selfish to keep things like that to myself when it happens. You guys do the same thing through art, I guessing? It may not entirely be the same thing, but my way is just through music. .
