PERSONALITYShosanna Dreyfus was born in 1923, to a rural Jewish French family. She lived a happy life up until Nazi Germany invaded France, and her family had to go into hiding with a family they thought they could trust. A family who ended up betraying them. She had both parents, a brother Amos, and an uncle exterminated by the Nazi soldier Hans Landa. She fled the house as her family were shot and killed. She herself would have been killed as well had Landa not changed his mind and merely shouted "Au revoir, Shosanna!"
This happened in 1941. Fast forward a few years, to 1944. Shosanna is now 21, a young French woman. She had the proper paperwork, listing her as a certain Emmanuelle Mimieux, a non-Jew living in France.
She is a strong-willed woman. She never allowed the murder of her family to stop her from succeeding in what she wanted to do, she perservered through it. She allowed it to make her stronger, tougher. She wouldn't allow herself to be brought down despite the circumstances.
She's the type of woman who gets what she wants, and knows exactly how to go about getting what she wants. She enjoys a sort of freedom, now. Now that she's a cinema owner and no one doubts the fact that she is not Jewish. That she is not who she says she is.
Even when she runs into Hans Landa unexpectedly, she does not allow it to get to her. She does not crack. Instead, she hatches a plan. A plan that, if it succeeds, will kill Hitler.
While she is certain no one will find her out, there is still a little seedling of doubt. How far will she go? How long will she succeed at this masquerade? So perhaps she is not as certain as she claims to be. Yes, she is a fierce, strong woman. But don't let that fool you into thinking she doesn't doubt herself from time to time.
SPECIAL ABILITIESShe doesn't have any supernatural abilities or anything of that sort. She is a skilled business woman, she knows how to own and operate a business. The cinema was her home after she fled rural France, she knows the ins and outs of it all. She is also skilled at making and carrying through with plans. She is a logical thinker, though she does allow emotion to get the best of her now and then.
