One Story In A Hundred
This is a thread dedicated to the people who are most closely related to Stanley May's story. The colorful cast, his foes, his friends, and the people who inspire him.
The Past - Megan Stacy, the woman he was supposed to marry before the accident that gave him his abilities. Time has changed both of them and now their paths seem to be taking them in opposite directions.
The Temptress - Rachel Doyle, one of the first people he met upon returning to Axis City. A telepath and beautiful woman, there is an undeniable attraction to her. He doesn't admit to it, yet it will pose a problem.
The Confidant - Danny Taylor, the journalist who first found Stanley and chose to keep the secret of his return. Stan has found a kindred spirit in Daniel, he likes the man's thirst for knowledge and the fact he seems trustworthy.
The Rival - A hero who challenges Stanley, for better or worse. Can be friendly or not-so-friendly, but they are at odds more often than not.
The Nemesis - The villain who Stanley just can't seem to get rid of, his opposite number and the constant thorn in his side. He matches Stan's heroics with equal villainy and they spare no passion in trying to deal with the other permanently.
The Student - A young person with abilities that he seeks to help deal with their powers and learn how to use them for the betterment of everyone around them. Helps Stanley learn about a lot about himself in the process.
The Teacher - A figure who helps Stanley deal with his powers and his actions in the past, as well as his responsibilities as someone with super powers. Can be super-powered or not.
