History:
Growing up book-ended by two brothers can forever keep you on your toes, which Molly Prewett learned early on. She was born in a particularly cold, almost Halloween morning in 1949. Gideon would say she was born yelling and would spend the rest of her life doing so as well. Molly begged to differ; she didn't think she yelled a lot. In wasn't her fault that Gid nor Fabian knew what to do at all times and had to be directed.
Much to her pleasure and not soon enough, she started Hogwarts in September of 1960. She was so excited after hearing about all the wonderful things there was about Hogwarts. Molly had to admit she was a bit scared of the sorting; Gid had said that the sorting was much more difficult than any of the exams he took his entire two years there. Gid would never fib about such things, surely! But, it seemed he had in this instance. The sorting was quite simple and never hesitated about putting her in Gryffindor. She wasn't completely sure she had all the traits for that house, but she didn't mind it one bit. Molly was at Hogwarts and there was no changing that now!
Molly simply adored her new friends; although one, a boy named Arthur Weasley, was a bit... odd. He was always talking about Muggles and how they lived. Molly overlooked this because he was always polite and eager to start a conversation should she find her self a bit bored. It would seem that Arthur was always around as time went on. As the school years passed, she found herself developing a crush on her friend, but never knew how to act on it; it also wasn't completely proper to make such advances either. However, Arthur learned of this crush (she was certain one of her friends told such a secret to him) and kissed her once under the mistletoe before their Christmas holiday. She was only 18 and completely head over heels for one Arthur Weasley.
Before too long, Molly's school years had passed and she was curious what the future held until Arthur proposed. It was sudden and her parents were furious. She was too young! Molly certainly didn't think she was too young and given the opportunity, eloped with Arthur. She never thought twice about it and hadn't since then, despite his antics at times. Arthur was and is her best friend. That has never changed, either.
Molly was hesitant to start a family so soon, and was almost grateful (a part of her was distraught that they hadn't had a child so soon; she was afraid she might be barren) they weren't able to conceive until two years later. Molly would soon realize that she loved the feeling being pregnant gave her, and upon holding her new son, she knew she'd have more to come. She was born to be a mother. Her marks in school showed she was intelligent and could probably have had a good job, but she loved being a wife and mother more. 5 more times she found herself pregnant, and was very surprised to have had twins. Oh, those twins of her... she was much too young to have had such grey hair! Her last pregnancy had been difficult; she felt different. Arthur was constantly asking after her and she played down a lot of what she was feeling, but she had to admit that this was probably her last baby. It did break her heart, but having the thought of 7 healthy, happy boys kept her spirits up mostly. That was, until her midwife handed her a squalling, red faced, red-haired little girl! A girl! Molly was over the moon. She was sure little Ginny was going to be a boy.
It seemed the years passed by so quickly watching her children grow up and eventually start Hogwarts. Every year, she felt herself grow closer and closer to Arthur, even with his Muggle obsession which she has tried to stifle unsuccessfully. Despite getting peeved with his tinkering, Molly can't help but grin and feel a bit of his excitement when he gets something to work. She loves him for better or worse.
Canon Differences:
Molly isn't as over-bearing as she is in canon. She also isn't as much as a worrier. Of course, she's a mother and anxieties with her children change as they grow but never disappear (even when they insist they're fine).

First Person:
• Someone once asked me what I would like to be remembered by and I couldn't really answer them at the time. But now I know. I want to be remembered as someone who loved her family and did her best to make sure they were happy, full of good food, and most importantly, that they were loved. I don't want any of my children or any family member or friend to not know how loved they are or how important they are. There are too many people in the world who doubt themself because of these things. Also, I want to be remembered for providing people with a quality meal, this goes in hand with the first part. A good meal can bring about good conversations and perhaps some healing between friends and family. Sometimes a person feels loved when they know someone made their favorite dish. After Arthur and I are long gone, I want our children to remember how much their parents loved each other. I want them to realize how much we loved them as well. We loved them as a group and individually (and we certainly have some characters). I want everyone I come in contact with to feel loved after they have visited our home. I hope my children carry such love with them.
