You should really at least do a trial run of living in Texas. Like, take a leave of absence from your work, don't move your stuff but live in Texas and stuff like you would if you were living there, if it works out go back home get your stuff, quit your job and move to Texas - if not, go back home and live your life like you normally do.

You can tell that I'm looking out for your well being because I know that if you did that, I wouldn't talk to you much but I think you deserve this change. Get away from everything that is dragging you down.
