With this being my first actual day in the clinic, and not having an awful lot to do right now, it seemed the best time to introduce myself.

My name is Ana Edwards, I'm a new Family Health Nurse Practitioner working here. Due to unfortunate circumstances surrounding another professor, I will also be taking over some of the theory classes for you nursing students out there, so you might see me next week in some of your lectures.

I hope most of you won't have any need to visit me for health reasons other than the routine, but if you have an health issues, or you want to talk to someone about anything related, feel free to drop in or send me a message.

I don't know how to break this... I'm assuming Elsa hasn't spoken to you. You might have worked it out from the name in my post, if you remembered Dave's name at all, you were both young... but it's Anastasia. I honestly didn't expect to find you all here!

I'm here. At Pearson. It was a fast thing, not so planned out, that's why I hadn't told you yet. Surprise?

	Since you disappeared, I got your appointment rearranged for Monday morning at 9. If you're going to be late for classes, I'm sure someone can clear that with your professors, or let me know and we can re-rearrange it for a better time. 	I'll be taking over from Ms Green for now, covering her pathophysiology and health assessment and promotion classes until the end of this quarter at least, then I may be taking on different classes and working with more years. Why, hello Jane, lovely to hear from you again too.

I work with a range of patient groups, and I'm allowed to order, perform and interpret certain tests, prescribe certain drugs and therapies, give advice, diagnose and treat general family health issues, give prenatal care (although that is not really something I expect to do here), family planning... Do you need more from me?
