It is my favorite time of year. The garden is in full bloom, and the weather is finally as chipper as my spirits. The new trainees are getting into the swing of things, and it is a wonderful group that we received this year. My daughter is finally home from her adventures abroad, and it is wonderful to be able to embrace her once again, knowing she is safe and nearby.

I attended the Quidditch Final, the first match I've gone to in several years. An incredibly exciting experience, and a well-matched game. And while I feel for my dear cousin in his loss, I must say that, as a woman, I couldn't be more proud to see the Harpies outplay the Falcolns.

Remus and Sirius, your barbeque was an event to remember. Thank you for putting together such a splendid event.

Life is good.

New trainees? Are you going to make them practise on me when the inevitable happens?

Good to be home, Mum. Sorry for ducking out like that.

When the inevitable what happens? Don't give me any more reasons to worry about you. I know I'm funny when I'm flustered, but I really don't enjoy it.

I understand your work, darling. My only concerns are your happiness and safety.

Oh, you know what I mean. I get hit by a stray spell, or my legs decide to send me one way when the rest of my body wants to go another. The usual injury or three.

I'll do my best to be better with both, Mum, promise.

I'm glad you were there, Andromeda! Anytime you want tickets to a match, all you have to do is say the word, darling!

I admit that I am not an avid Quidditch fan. But I may ask for tickets next year to see the Falcons vs. the Wasps. I'm sure you understand the appeal in seeing the Wasps go down.

I know, but the offer still stands! And oh, I wholeheartedly agree with that statement.
