Character Information Name: Anna Coleman Age: 19 Fandom: Freaky Friday Major: Music Dorm Room Desired: She's cool with whatever room you give her! Class: Sophomore Occupation: Student Point In Fandom Taken From: Three years after the movie Brief History: Whenever people say "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes" Ever since her dad passed away, Anna had lived the life of the rebellious teenager, hating her mother's new fiance and rocking in her garage with her band, hoping to get a huge break, until her mother cut the power every single day at 6pm. Life wasn't good for Anna. Every time she had an good thing happening to her, her mother took it away from her. Everyone was against her: her mother, her little annoying brother, Stacy Hinkhouse, Mr. Bates,... Life was so not fair for her. It sucked.
But it sucked even more when, after a fight with her mom and thanks to a fortune cookie, she became the personification of the saying "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes". She was in her mother's body and he mom was in hers. It was crazy! The day started bad and it got even worse as it progressed, until both Anna and her mother realized that it wasn't easy being the other one and they needed to learn to understand each other, to listen and be more selfless.
At the end of the day, Anna and her band (with her mom in her body) made their debut at The House of Blues, her mother understood her music was not 'noise but was actually good and exiting; and Anna finally accepted Ryan into the family. She knew he'd never be her dad, but he could be form part of a new family where she, her brother, her mom and him were together.
And a plus that came with the whole 'walking a mile in the other's shoes' was that her mother finally approved her seeing Jake. She had had a crush on him since she could remember and things seemed to beheading in a good direction before the whole body swiping mess. But luckily things worked out for them and Jake and Anna shared their first kiss (or second, but she wasn't in her body) at her mom's wedding.
But like they say, all good things come to an end. Before Jake left for college, Anna decided it was better if they broke up. Long-distance relationships were hard to keep, and she was sure as soon as he was in college he'd meet some hot blond and would forget about her completely.
It was the dumbest decision she ever made, and as she transferred to KSU, a part of her hoped he was still waiting for her. PB: Lindsay Lohan
