Inventory: Blue jeans, running shoes, a white t-shirt that has 'love is love' printed over her heart and a pair of drumsticks in her back pocket. Appearance: Aurora stands at 5'3" and has natural dark brown hair (which she has put some lighter highlights through) and bright blue eyes. She likes to keep physically fit and enjoys running and bicycling. She's taken self-defense lessons although she hopes that she'll never have to put them into practice. She likes to say she's 'small but mighty!' Personality: Due to how she was raised, and in part due to what she's suffered in her young life, Aurora has a bright and cheerful personality. She chooses to see the best in people, the best in the world and doesn't believe that anger is in any way constructive. She knows what it's like to feel down, both physically and emotionally, but would rather put her energy towards making the world a better place. Powers & Abilities: Aurora has low level telepathic and emepathic abilities. Due to being ill when these abilities started to emerge it's only been in the last six months that she's really come into those abilities. She's able to hear surface thoughts and emotions that simmer from others. She's not entirely aware that she's capable of this, however, and considers them intuitions more than anything. Given time and the right guidance, however, she could cultivate these abilities and become much stronger. History: Aurora has had leukaemia twice in her young life. Once when she was seven years old and again when she was fifteen. She's been in remission for almost two years now. One could speculate that it's because of this that she's so mature, well adjusted, and just an overall positive person. It was also in no small part due to her upbringing. Her parents and older brother, Bode, always encouraged her to see the bright side of life and to follow her dreams. It was during her second bout of leukaemia treatment that Aurora met Aubrey Blackhall. Yin and Yang immediately comes to mind, they couldn't be more different if they tried and yet through their friendship and eventual relationship they managed to bring out the best in each other and have grown as individuals and as a couple since. Aurora, herself, has grown as an individual. She's much more confident than she used to be and is willing to try just about anything at least once. She's smart and once she sets her mind on something it's hard to deter her. Once she graduates high school she hopes to go into teaching or counselling or perhaps both. Her passion in life is learning just about anything that catches her interest. She's mastered the ukulele and is learning to play the drums. She also reads as much as she can, at the moment her interest is primarily feminist literature. After her illness, she's made a point to exercise and play sports often. She's particularly fond of soccer and while she likes the idea of roller derby, she considers herself too small for such an endeavour. Roller skating however, it something that she'd like to learn too. While she hopes that she'll never get ill again, she also recognises that it's still a possibility and as such plans to life her life to the fullest and will always encourage others to do the same.
