Having just gotten it, installed it, and spent some time playing around with it my tentative review is that Windows 7 doesn't completely suck. Then again I've been making awesome Doug upgrades as I've gone along.

Geocities is closing down today - Not surprising but sad nonetheless. My first webpage was on geocities. I was eight.

Facebook and Google want to translate the internet - One's going with people, the other with machine. Can I referee the grudge match?

NASA crashed the LCROSS spacecraft into the moon to see if it could kick up water - Am I the only one that is picturing a bad Sci-Fi movie coming out of this where due to human intervention the moon gets knocked off course, and they have to use nuclear explosions to put it back on course? Just me?

32 planets discovered outside of our solar system - First, thirty-two seems like an awful lot to come across all at once. It must have been a cornucopia of planets just sitting there. Second, I don't care at all about these planets (unless aliens are involved) until Pluto is restored.

I'm still holding a secret flame for Pluto. Except it's not so secret now.

Everyone except the idiots at NASA are holding a secret flame for Pluto.

They'll change their minds. Once they realize that these 32 new planets have their own Plutos.

I had to force myself off of GoogleFights. It's the most time I've wasted on a single thing without leveling up.

Wish they had discovered 42 planets, that would have seemed more fitting.

So what scientists are saying is that planets like to hang out in clusters? Like grapes?

Apparently? Although they probably use a 800 word explanation about gravitational pulls to explain it.

Thanks for doing all that work here in Texas, Doug.

You have Windows 7? I thought you were like the guy on TV and all "I'm a Mac."

It was no trouble.

Paige. Paige. Paige. First, Windows improved by Doug is awesome. Second, most of the students will have Windows. Thirdly, on my computer I run a parallel on my Mac desktop with now both windows 7 and the new Snow leopard OS from Mac.

Laptop, of course, is Linux.

"I'm an everything."

Fine your an everything and have it all under control.

I think "I'm an everything" doesn't have the same ring as "I'm a PC" or "I'm a Mac."
