Sometimes, I can hide well enough. But now that it's getting to be summer, it's harder to do it right. It looks weird to be wearing a baggy hoodie or coat to hide my wings. Also, it's uncomfortable as heck. Strapped down for too long and my wings start to ache, I ain't got nothing to really compare it too. It's just a constant feeling of pain.
And I totally get what you're saying about going out in mutant-friendly places. It's pretty darn nice and it's something I never experienced outside of my time here. But still, even there, I still feel real exposed. I don't like people staring when I'm out.
I guess what I do, is to not go out alone. If I got someone with me that I know has my back, I don't feel as on edge and I got someone to focus on instead of worrying about other people.
