Kurt Wagner
Hello, Kurt. I'm Dr. Richards from the Stark school. I don't believe we've ever met, but your mutation poses a very interesting challenge. With all due respect to the reality of your struggle of accepting and hoping others will accept your appearance, I'd like to offer-- request that perhaps you would allow me to attempt to build an image inducing device to change your physical appearance by using light refraction. A colleague of mine has a particular propensity with light manipulation and can actually render herself invisible. I'd like to take the same concept and make it into a small wearable device, controlled by you, that will, under most conditions, make you appear to the eyes of the general populace as what normal may be termed. That is to say, make you appear as though you are human.
Of course, I understand if you may have some reservations about agreeing to what must seem like an easy way out, but I assure you (and also offer some words of caution in the chance that you might be getting your hope up prematurely) that this is only a theory I've yet to put into practice and test and it may only work under special circumstances. Circumstances such as walking down the street on a normal day and able to blend in without excessive clothing but would not function properly in a rainstorm, for example.
Once again, I would completely understand if you'd rather find an alternative solution, but my offer stands. I'll leave my contact information here for you in case you decide to pursue something scientific that may, in small part, help with your situation.
