Benjiman James Carpenter was born August 19th, 1987, in London, England. He was born to Elijah William Jacob Carpenter and Claire Sophia Marie Carpenter. His parents certainly were not poor, his mother owned her very own boutique. A rather risque one, She sold lingerie. As for Mr. Carpenter, he owned a book shop. Ben loved hanging out with his father at the book shop, he loves to read. On many occasions he can be caught with his nose in a book. To his shock, his parents divorced when he was 15, he still hasn't been told what caused the divorce.
One month after his 16th birthday, his mother remarried, this time an american. Within a year and a half, they moved to New York. Ben completely rebelled, he was angry at his parents. Angry with his mother for moving and his father for making him go with. He never really thought his stepfather was a bad guy, he just wasn't his dad. Continuing with his rebellion, he was married at 18, to his best friend. They realized it was a mistake and had it annulled two months later. He has remained best friends with her though.
He has five siblings, 2 older sisters, 1 younger sister, a 3 year old half-sister and a 20 year old step-brother. At first he hated his step-brother, they would fight nonstop about everything. It's taken them a while but they have finally become friends. He's close with his sisters, especially the one that's the second oldest. His family is very important to him. He visits his father in England once a month.
Ben moved to Las Vegas 6 months ago. He's taken to it quite well. He got a job as a bellboy at the Bellagio Hotel, that's going along smoothly. He's made some friends, gone on a few dates, really starting a new life for himself. He's attending UNLV, majoring in Art with English as a minor. He always was very artisitc, he loves drawing and painting. All of it is enjoyable for him. The English was something he just decided on, he knew it would be hard work, but he thought he might enjoy it. He's like that, just a go with the flow guy.
