Sometimes I love this place, and sometimes I hate this place. I don't know what staying in a place so volatile will do for my recovery.

Well, to be frank, I didn't leave my home for several weeks when I first arrived here and I am still wary of speaking to many of the new arrivals ~~or those who don't seem to care that we were once--~~ but I am taking it day by day. I still complete my affirmations like Healer Anderson instructed and I speak to some of the mates I trust most. It is not the same. It is definitely not the same.

Sleep helps. If I don't sleep, my outlook becomes dark. Of course, sleeping can be problematic so I use potions when I really have trouble --- just not as much as I first did because I don't want to form a habit. I still brew --- it calms me --- if you would like some? I understand why you might not want to speak with someone at the apothecary.

I know you might feel uncomfortable taking me up on it, but --- I am always happy to talk to you about this --- no one can really understand unless they have gone through it so --- it might helps us both.

I am sorry about Hannah.

I guess that's all we can do, take it day by day. I know my family's here when they're not back home, and my mates too, but things are just so hard to keep balanced sometimes. Now Hannah's gone and I need to be there for her kids and I barely can be there for me.

And yes, sleeping is very problematic. Got that from my Auntie, I guess. Frankie suggested one thing, but I will definitely try whatever I can to at least get some sleep.

I think talking to someone who has been there -- is there, I don't know -- definitely helps, so, I think I'm okay with that.
