It's quite alright, sweetheart. I know how hectic things can get, so there is no need to apologize.
As for your question... the fact of the matter is there is no easy way of dealing with it. Death is not an easy subject, and it's even harder knowing that in my time... I don't have them anymore.
But at the end of the day, as much as it hurts, you have to help Jasper through it as much as you can. Your heart will break, and both of you will hurt over it, but you can at least take comfort knowing that here, they still exist. To me... that sort of means no matter what, no one is really completely gone. He may be dead in the future, but he's still alive with the people who knew him and they can be there to help carry that on. People never die Susan, not when they have people alive who still love them.
That probably didn't help at all, but at least it's something? I hate to see you go through this, I never wanted anything bad to happen or for you to have to experience this kind of grief. It isn't fair to anyone.
Of course you can come over tomorrow. Do you want me to make us lunch?
