NICKNAMES: None, everyone calls him by his name. But to his followers and enemies? Antichrist, Lawless One, Little Horn, Son of Perdition, Man of Sin, Abomination, etc.

ALIGNMENT: More likely between Chaotic Good and Lawful Evil. More of a mastermind than outright villain, Antichrist title is more of a "punch clock villain" trope in his case. He's mostly a morally gray antihero, at times can even be seen as a good guy with dark tendencies. Somewhere underneath his dark/evil side (the Antichrist side), there is a potentially good person.

ABILITIES:
- Envirokinesis; able to cause violent accidents around him or to desired targets
- Telekinesis; move objects with the will of his mind
- Mind control; the weak-willed and sometimes animals, after eye contact, either worship or commit suicide. However, the faithful or otherwise strong willed types of people might be resistant.
- Immune to man made or natural earthly toxins, disease, poisons, alcohol, injury, sickness, etc.
- Tactile influence; touch can cause pain or bliss
- Self-healing, wounds regenerate at a quick rate; possible also to "share" the healing ability with others temporarily through physical contact; if he dies, his body will slowly heal until he is restored to health and life again
- Able to see in the dark, also high sense of smell and hearing from his jackal side
- Allegedly, it's rumored he can brand his mark on loyal followers on the skin, albeit very small and hidden (though it'd involve complex ritual and such on his part)
- Any animals aside from canines or birds tend to go crazy around him when close (zoos are a big no for him)
- Has a bit of sixth sense, such as suspicions of being watched, or hidden presences, or to discern those of an evil or holy disposition
- Affinity to canine type species
- Senses supernatural items or people, from being a bit on the strange side himself. Could work the opposite way, i.e. werewolves and other similar types sensing his canine side and "something else" feeling about him.
- Possible uses of his powers to create "miracles" like his holy counterpart, i.e. healing others, curing illness, altering physics to change liquid composition, food multiplication; however, it isn't yet known if he has the gift for the resurrection of others
WEAKNESSES: Damien has very few weaknesses.. at least on the human level of things. He's immune to poison, sickness, disease, fumes, chemicals, as well as any form of radiation or biological warfare. Very difficult to kill by human means, he tends to heal quickly. Only weapons of holy or magical attributes could kill him (though technically, to finally end him, the Seven Daggers of Megiddo had to be stabbed a certain way and inside a church in order to kill him in both body and spirit, lest his dark soul found a new home and be reborn later). He's also not very comfortable in holy places. Angels and any deity types would be physically very dangerous to him as well.
PERSONALITY: His personality is that a calm and calculating young man, quite reserved, but he also has a dark and carnal side to him. Appearances (his own as well) are important to him. He has no guilt over the many "accidental" deaths caused for and by him, except one; his late cousin Mark Thorn. He views the others as merely self preservation. A lion doesn't feel guilt for killing his hunters, does he? It's nature. Survival is an evolutionary imperative.
He considers himself a leader, since that is what he was born to do; corrupt, gain power, destroy, and rule everything. Damien loves being served and worshiped. In fact he's used to it by now. Even better if they once served God, which adds more to the rush knowing that he turned them to his side. He's not fully interested in destroying an entire world and killing everyone; no, he prefers power and control more than outright destruction, although a little chaos and mayhem now and then can be fun. Plus he doesn't really think himself a villain, often citing it depends on point of view, and also thinks of the "antichrist" gig as a job. His alignment would be close to Lawful Evil or Chaotic Good.
He has certain phobias as well. He doesn't like being inside religious buildings, especially Christian churches. There are two reasons for this. One, his foster father once tried to kill him on a church altar when he was five, ending in the man being gunned down by police. Secondly, and this is speculation, it could also be just a result of what he is, as well as the being he comes from. But of course phobias can be overcome with practice and perseverance, which he hopes will be true for himself one day.
Damien likes to indulge, and sometimes in excess, when it comes to things referred to as "sin" by religious people. He gets a rush out of being in its presence. Alcohol, sex, gluttony, gambling, desecration, profanity, blasphemy, etc. To put it simply, he's the poster boy for hedonism unto its ultimate form. He not only likes to participate in such things, but to also watch others do it (or at least bait or tempt them into doing it).
Because after all, isn't life a party? Or it should be, according to him. Sometimes he might get excited over witnessing destruction of a massive scale; such as traffic accidents, for one. Which is probably why he's a big fan of Michael Bey action films. He's also a firm believer in free will, self-preservation, and living life to the fullest (even if it's at the expense of something or someone else on occasion). As another villain once said, "A man cannot deny his true nature, can he?" This one certainly will not.
HISTORY: Damien was born on June 6th at 6am in Rome. And just like the Nazarene's birth was heralded by a bright star over Bethlehem, so too over Rome was a bright star during Damien's birth. He is the child of Satan and a jackal, and his destiny is to become the Antichrist as spoken of in Revelation. He has no fingerprints. There is a cluster of 666 under his scalp. He was given to Robert Thorn in place of his own deceased infant and they lived in England. He was to grow up in the sea of politics. He was surrounded by followers as well, dark agents loyal to him and his purpose, protecting him, taking places in his life (doctors, nannies, a sergeant, priests, etc).
When he was five, there were many accidents that happened to anyone who found out his identity or was a threat to him. After the death of the mother and several others, Robert found out that the way to kill the beast: take him to a church, kill him on the altar with the seven holy Daggers of Megiddo. But it failed. The police arrived just before he could do it and killed the man.
Damien was an orphan once again, and went to live with the man's brother in Chicago for seven more years. The man, Richard, had a new wife (who was a secret follower) and a son named Mark. When they turned 13, both boys attended Davidson Military Academy. Damien had two followers. One was the platoon sergeant Daniel Neff, the other was Paul Buher.. who worked closely with Richard at Thorn Industries, a company that would have branches in the world.
It was not long before the boy had learned exactly who and what he was, after reading his Bible and finding the birthmark. He'd overreacted a bit at first, but came to accept it, and actually began to enjoy what he was. A few workers (and customers) who were in opposition of certain policies died in freak accidents, one instance of which took place in the form of a poison epidemic when the class had a field trip. Damien was not affected at all.
His cousin, after a few more deaths, had also found the truth. They had argued. And in the woods, when things got heated, Damien lost control of his dark power and Mark had fallen over dead, killed by an aneurysm in the brain. That seemed to kill off a few more trails of the boy's humanity. He had graduated the academy with honors. That night, Richard and Ann were arguing in the Thorn Museum. Ann, ever so loyal, ended up killing her husband. And since she was the Whore of Babylon, Damien was led to eradicate her as well, by causing a boiler explosion that decimated the building as he left.
Alone, he then moved in with Paul, who had been looking after him for the next five years. Then he had attended Yale for about four years after his connections got him in (as well as a spot in the fraternities, not to mention student government). He excelled in each class, majoring especially in the areas of business and politics. And... he may also have very likely picked up quite a few followers on campus too. But as he began to grow older and experienced the pleasures of life, he had second thoughts about his dark destiny.
Armageddon, the plagues, destroying the world, all due to a pissing contest with his Father and the Almighty? Well, "family drama sucks" would be an understatement. He found that he liked the world, and especially people (especially when alone with them, hehe). He began to wonder if he could use his powers and influence to one day create a utopia instead. To forget the 'final battle' and eternal conflict, do things his own way. Of course some sins could be kept in business, but he hoped to make a perfect world. Under him, of course.
He could get the best of both, rule the world but with none of the eternal conflict involved. Of course he realized Heaven and Hell would be pissed if they knew his true intentions. Going against both factions would be suicide. And so he kept it secret while pretending to go along with whatever course was planned for him. It was after he graduated that he was handed the reigns to the global company he inherited. It was only a matter of time before he embarked on his political career and his influence reached around the entire world. Everything was falling into place.
CANON POINT: Sometime between Damien: Omen II and Omen III: The Final Conflict. Probably close to 10 years before the third movie.
