history; Born to a mutant father and human mother, Joey was the second of four mutants from Boston, Massachusetts. All four siblings were sent to Charles Xavier's school in Providence as soon as they began showing signs of abilities manifesting. One day when Joey was twelve, he was arguing with his older sister, and a flame came from his hand and accidentally singed some of her hair. After getting over the initial shock, the siblings shared a laugh and let their parents know. Joey was enrolled in the special school the very next week.

Joey learned to perfect his abilities over the next few years, but his true passion was professional wrestling. He learned all sorts of combat, all while being able to control his abilities and not burn any of his sparring partners. This meant his training took a little longer than he wished, and he didn't have his first match until he was twenty-three. Less than a year in the Independent scene, Joey received a call from Multiverse Championship Wrestling. Before he knew it, he was saying good-bye to his family and heading to Galador.
