I know. I know. That's part of the interest of putting characters up against each other. Not everyone is as perceptive as Brooklyn or Janis. The difference between those two is that Janis is far too damaged to willingly, consciously let someone in to be able to completely connect with Animal like that to help/grow with him. Say, awwww.
Janis is old and lonely. She needs more time to cure. D'aww.
