Caroline was raised by a single mother until the age of four, when her mother was killed in a car accident. With no relatives able to take her in, she was placed in the foster care system. She never knew her father, and felt like he hadn't wanted her. She was frequently moved from home to home, which only added to her feelings of not being good enough for a family. Some of the homes were bad, others good, but none lasted. She began to withdraw into herself, not wanting to do or say the wrong thing and be sent away again.
When she arrived in Vallo at the age of 11 and was adopted by two dads that actually wanted her, and had a sister and an extended family - it seemed too good to be true. She found comfort in the game of dungeons and dragons, and being able to take on the role of someone else for a while. She also enjoyed getting caught up in a good movie. With time, she learned to be comfortable with her new family and being herself and became very outgoing.
She is understanding and kind to those around her. She is especially caring and protective towards her family, including extend family. She's creative, she expressed herself through her style when she was shy, and continues to find ways to express herself.
