Not to brag, but in exactly one whole ass month we're celebrating the fact that we've kept this little gremlin alive for a whole ass year: ( cut for image! )
Anyway, Adora and I have done a lot of trial-and-error smash cakes so I think we're ready for that part. We haven't hashed out party details or anything yet, but obviously friends and anyone else here with their own gremlins are invited. Probably something outside of Darla? We have Big Cats to pet? And not in that fucking Joe Exotic way, that guy can choke. |

My sculpture final cracked in the kiln. Don't mind me, I'm just going to spend the rest of the day crying and frantically trying to redo it in time to turn in.

Tairn and I were out in the forest and a giant horned creature rose up from under a downed tree and tried to attack. Which-- was stupid of it, because it tried to attack Tairn and Sgaeyl showed up out of nowhere and ripped its head clean off.
So, uh. Please be wary of these things (and also sorry for the blood I couldn't get a picture BEFORE its head was gone): [Attached picture of a Deathclaw but pretend it's head is next to it just like, gone.]
Tairn has been away from Sgaeyl for months now and still waited until Andarna showed up before leaving me to go-- whatever! So I guess don't expect to see him for a while if you're looking to the skies, dragons in our world can't handle being away from their mates for weeks let alone this long. He'll probably be less cranky now.

The sun not setting makes being an early riser its own kind of painful this morning. Even with the curtains closed, I'm not sure I got all that much sleep last night so I apologize if you have to interact with me between bouts of coffee today.
This is weird, yeah? Hasn't happened before? I've been here two years and nothing like this has happened before, outside of Moon Day. And that's, you know, the opposite of this. |
