She had to stifle a gasp at that motion. It wouldn't kill Damon, but it did mean she was on her own with Kol. Klaus was one thing; she knew him. She knew what he was capable of. Elijah something else entirely. At least Elena knew he was a man of his word. But Kol... The fact that he jumped so quickly to threatening Jeremy only proved just how unpredictable he was.
"No." She answered hastily enough. "No, leave Jeremy out of this. This is about me. Not him." Her brother had already been drawn into enough danger on her account.
