Kol smirked. She was a feisty one. After sending a few more messages to his brother to verify their new arrangement, Kol turned off the light and went to sleep. He was a light sleeper though. Any move Elena made to escape would be met with violence. Klaus needed her alive for his hybrids, but he didn't need her in peak condition.

The next day he woke up at 5:30am and sat up. The girl was still sleeping beside her so he shook her. "Get up and get ready. We leave in 20 minutes. I expect you to be ready by then if you want me to feed you."
