"I'm not entirely sure I approve of that Elena," Kol said through gritted teeth as he glared at the girl. "I'm pretty upset at you right now, love. I was being amiale by allowing you to go to the bathroom without the use of compulsion, but I can see that if you won't behave..." He took out his phone, dialing his brother.

"She contacted the Salvatore boy while she was in the bathroom....NO I didn't think I needed to compel her when she needed to take a piss. How should I proceed? I see....I see...." a smirk crossed his face as he listened to what his brother had to say. "Consider it done." With that he hung up the phone and without saying a word to Elena backed out of the rest stop and got back on the highway.
