"My mother wanted her family whole, and because of the constant fighting between Elijah and Klaus--Elijah was not living with us at the time. He was planning on getting a home and making a living and an earning to be the one Tatia would choose because he would have stability for her and her child. So my mother decided that since she was cause of the strife that she would be the end of it. It really wasn't fair, Tatia was a good person and Elijah and Klaus were horrified to later find out that their beloved was sacrificed in order to become this."
