"She's awake," Klaus' voice drawled as he leaned against the door eying Elena carefully. "Sorry about the chains sweetheart, but you have a habit of getting away from me and I don't exactly like that. I fear that Kol was a tad...hasty with you. He's tempermental you see. The chains are merely to keep you in place while Elijah and I get some answers out of you."
"Why did you kill Finn, Elena?" Elijah questioned. He actually looked...hurt. He had trusted Elena Gilbert, but she was proving to be somewhat like Katherine and it hurt him. "Finn was the most harmless out of all of us. All you would have done was get rid of my mother, or find a way to destroy the link. Out of all of us, Finn was the one less likely to hurt anyone."
