Elena didn't start with any of those usual tactics. Instead, staring up at him, she asked the question that had been on her mind since Katherine had said it.
"Did you know?" She questioned. "Was Katherine telling the truth for once? Did you know I'd feel it?" And had he hoped that it would sway her?
