He lifted her out, cradling her in his arms for a moment. Everything hurt, and she was only vaguely aware of his questions. Asking if she could stand...if anything was broken. Shaking her head, though even she wasn't sure which question she was answering. And then he was talking again, asking her to focus, asking more questions.

Before she could stop herself, Elena was gasping out the first thing on her mind. "I look like her," she whispered, tears overflowing. And then, suddenly, her knees were buckling, the world going dark around her.

	He lifted her up, looking around for a moment before he walked over to his car. He opened the door and placed her gently inside, putting on her seat belt. He closed the door and then quickly moved her car off the road. He walked back to his car and got in, pulling out and heading toward Georgia. (Reply to this) (Thread)

By the time she stirred again, it was light. The humming of tires on the road was making her head pound worse than she'd thought possible, and Elena moaned softly, eyes sliding open and cringing at the brightness.

"Where are we?" She questioned. "What's going on?" It didn't match up. It had been dark. And....she vaguely recalled Damon lifting her out of... shit.

She pushed herself up a bit further in the seat. "....Damon?"

	So, apparently she didn't want to talk to Stefan. "Trouble in paradise?" he asked. Then he answered the phone. "Elena's phone," he said. "Hi Stefan. She's here. She's fine. Okay, you have a good day. Bye now," he said, hanging up. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Your ex, too," she reminded him. "You both dated her. I'm her twin. What, is he trying to...recreate something?" The thought was disgusting, and her heart twisted again, Elena thinking back to the heartbreak after such a wonderful evening.
