"Then I guess I'll just have to see what Stefan thinks of you compelling his girlfriend like that," he said. He couldn't even believe he was saying this. Elena had changed him so much. There was a time when he wouldn't have thought twice about it, he would have just gone with what Katherine was asking him. But this.. this whole thing broke him inside. For one fleeting moment he had thought that Elena actually felt the same way about him.
