The truck hit a pothole and Elena winced as it jolted her neck. She was still woozy, still trying to recover from Stefan's ripping her neck open, and the blood taken from her, and the medicine she'd been given. But at least Damon wasn't dead. Shifting to a more comfortable position, though that was a relative term, Elena looked over at Damon.

"I'm sorry." She hadn't meant for him to be dragged into this as well. She'd only wanted Klaus to not kill him. And she would have done anything to stop that.

	With the talking, Elena hadn't noticed the truck slowing down. But it had rolled to a stop. And, as the door opened, she shifted closer still to Damon, eyes focused warily on the person there. 	She stared up at Stefan for a moment, eyes full of hurt. "What are you doing?" Hoisting himself up, Stefan moved into the truck, stopping a few feet away. "Doing what I'm told.
